Story
Dear friends!
3 years ago, I trained for over 12 weeks in order to run my first ever 10km for the 2014 Run 4 Refugees. This year I've challenged myself to do the 10km again, but this time, I've also done zero training. Whoops!
The important thing, regardless of my folly, is that I'll be taking part in the Run 4 Refugees with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre at this years Melbourne Marathon.
Stand with me and #TeamASRC by making a donation that will support and empower people seeking asylum.
With you on side, I'll be able to reach my fundraising goal and together we'll join a community of compassion that champions hope and provides essential humanitarian, legal and health services to more than 3,000 people each year.
Thanks so much for your support - it will serve as motivation for the run, and compensation for the pain I'll no doubt be in come Sunday Oct 15! I can't wait!

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)
The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
