Story

As you know, I do not exercise. But I am about to start getting sweaty on the reg so I can take part in the 2017 Melbourne Half Marathon and raise much needed funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.

I would love your support in all senses of the word. I will accept sponsorship, words of encouragement, bets for or against my success in this mission... It all makes a difference, to me and to the people who are really doing it tough, the people that the ASRC help daily.

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.

As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.

We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
